titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR OBTAINING CARBONATE AND OXIDES OF MAGNESIUM
abstract The process for obtaining the high purity carbonate and Mg oxide by carbonating dolomite milk consists in the purification of solutions of Mg (HCO3) which are subjected to a desilication treatment by filtration on a filtering layer of Al2O3 or by adsorbing the impurities onto Al (OH) 3 flocs, after which the purified solutions decompose by MgCO 3 by known methods and MgO is obtained by calcination.
