abstract The invention relates to an ambient radiation monitoring station which, by its multiple elements, which operate simultaneously, provides a correction of the measured dose, by eliminating the contribution of the natural background of the cosmic mions. The monitoring station according to the invention comprises: a radiation detector (R) dedicated to the measurement of ambient radiation consisting of photons and ionized particles and consists of a lanthanum bromide crystal, LaBr3, contaminated with Ce, two planes (P1, P2 ) detectors located above the radiation detector (R) that determine the flow of secondary muons, a weather station (M) that records the pressure, temperature, speed and direction of the wind, air humidity and the amount of precipitation outside the station (M), as well as and the temperature and humidity inside, information necessary to perform the correction of myon flow and dose correlation with possible directions of arrival of contaminants, as well as electronics (E) related to real-time data acquisition and processing. The monitoring station is also equipped with a communications antenna (C) for downloading data to a remote server and can be completely independent if the power supply is provided by means of a solar panel and batteries.
