abstract | The invention relates to 2-aryl (heteroaryl) -5- [2- (phenylthiomethyl) phenyl] -1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives, a pharmaceutical composition comprising them and their use as antitumor agents. The 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives according to the invention have the general formula I, wherein R is -H or a group -CH 3, X is S or SO 2 and R 'is an unsubstituted, mono- or polysubstituted aryl group with C 1 radicals -C 3 alkyl, halogen, -NO 2, 5-6 membered heteroaryl with N, S, O. The composition according to the invention contains as the only active antitumor principle a derivative according to the invention together with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Derivatives of general formula I according to the invention are used for the preparation of a medicament for antitumor treatment. |
