abstract The invention relates to an integrated process for determining the concentrations of metallic contaminants: Pb, Cu, Cd, Zn, Ni, Cr, Hg, As, Se and their species in the food chain. The process according to the invention consists in harvesting environmental samples: soil, water, air, vegetation, sample preparation by mineralizations and specific extractions of analytes, analytical measurement of the compounds of interest by measuring techniques known in the art, calculation of results and comparison of the level metal contamination of water, ambient air and soil with the maximum admissible concentrations for the environmental factors analyzed.
