abstract |
The invention relates to an advanced treatment of waste water contaminated with 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT). The process according to the invention consists in a catalytic photooxidation phase at a dose of 200 mg / l TiOdopat catalyst with 0.5% Fe and exposure to sunlight for 540 min of the catalyst suspension in the waste water followed by a phase separation of the catalyst by centrifugation for 15 minutes at a relative centrifugation force of 1500 G and recirculation thereof in two successive photocatalytic oxidation cycles with the addition of 10% of the fresh catalyst / oxidation cycle, resulting in an effluent with a residual TNT concentration less than 0.01 mg / l in treated water. |
