titleOfInvention MODULAR PARALLELIPIPEDIC REACTOR IN CONTINUOUS FLOW, FOR SIMULTANEOUS PROCESSES OF PHOTOCATALIZATION AND ADSORPTION
abstract The invention relates to a continuous-flow modular parallelepiped reactor for simultaneous photocatalysis and adsorption processes based on adsorbent and photocatalytic substrates in pellet or pellet form for the advanced treatment of wastewater by reducing the concentration of pollutants in different classes with pilot or industrial scale application for micro-treatment plants. According to the invention, the reactor consists of several identical vertical parallelepipedal reactor modules, one module being composed of a parallelepipedic hydraulic subsystem (A) consisting of two parallelepipedal plates (1 and 2), between which a body ( 3) parallel-liped and laterally transparent plates (5) fixed by means of outer frames (7), whereby the intake of the slurry / water inside the subsystem is made by means of equidistant holes (J and K) from the plate 1), with the vertically inclined axes in different directions, some caps (12) which can hold some perforated plates (14) for fixing some pellets (15) from a connection (18) to the plate (2) (18) for removing the suspension / water, a removable radiation parallelepiped (B) parallelepiped, comprising an adjustable intensity and spectrum radiation source (19) made up of the UV tubular electric lamps (20) and VIS supported by a frame (23) on which at the top is mounted a panel (24) in which there are fixed some fans (25) and a sensor (26) for measuring the temperature in the enclosure as well as a subsystem C) of the subsystems (A and B) consisting of a base plate (27) provided with some ventilation holes (M) and some holes (N) punched for quick mounting / disassembly of the subsystem (B) , and a frame (29) centrally fastened to support and secure the subsystem (A).
