The invention relates to a diesel biofuel and to a process for obtaining it. The biofuel according to the invention is constituted, by mass, of 90.3 ... 95.4% 1,2-furfurylidene-glyceryl esters, 4,6 ... 7,4% 1,2-isopropylidene esters -glyceryl and up to 2.6% furfural derivatives. The process according to the invention consists in treating the 1,2-isopropylidene glyceryl esters with furfural derivatives in the presence of a strong acid catalyst, optionally with a usual solvent, the reaction mixture is heated to 65 DEG-120 DEG C. with holding for 1 ... 6 hours, after which the acetone and the catalyst, possibly the solvent, are removed by distillation. |
