abstract The invention relates to a thickened diatutane fluid, and to a method of treating a portion of a well that uses the fluid. The fluid according to the invention includes water, one or more salts selected from the group consisting of alkaline earth metal halide salts, alkaline earth metal salts and any combination thereof, a thickening agent selected from the group consisting of di-butane, di-ethane derivative, scleroglucan , a scleroglucan derivative and any combination thereof, and a delayed release weak acid source wherein the initial fluid of the H is at least 6. The method according to the invention consists in the steps of fluid formation and fluid introduction in the shaft portion.
