abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of yeast biomass antidiabetic compounds. The process according to the invention consists in preparing a maintenance culture from a pure culture of ATCC4098 followed by preparation of a culture inoculum, carrying out the fermentation of the culture medium with 10% inoculum with addition of 3% sodium ortovanadate and chromium chloride, separation, purification and drying the fermented medium, resulting in dry biomass containing chromium and vanadium.
