abstract The invention relates to an optimized installation for continuously producing deuterium-depleted water with a concentration of 25 ± 5 ppm D/(D+H) and the derivatives with a concentration of 60 ± 5 ppm D(D+H), 100 ± 5 ppm D(D+H) without being limited to these derivatives. According to the invention, the installation comprises an isotopic distillation column () with a single area of isotopic depletion, with a minimum volume of ordered filler (), observing the relation dV/dC=0 where Vis the volume of the ordered filler and the Cis the reflux number ensuring a large contact surface between the descending liquid phase and the ascending vapour phase in order to carry out the isotopic exchange between the two phases.
