titleOfInvention PROCESS AND INSTALLATION FOR THE OBTAINING OF GRAPE AND SILVER AND OTHER METAL AND NON-METAL ACCESSORIES FROM ROŞIA MONTANA OR OTHER SIMILAR LIGHTS
abstract The invention relates to a process and an installation for extracting gold, silver and other accompanying metal and non-metal elements from the Rosia Montana or other similar ore deposits. According to the invention, the process consists in conveying the ore (1), fluorspar (2), quartzite (3), bauxite (4) and magnesite (5) into some work bunkers, wherefrom they are subjected to some preparation operations consisting in sorting them on grates, crushing and sorting according to the granulometric sizes, afterwards there being performed the burning of the sulphur in the ore having a granulation smaller than 3 mm, at a temperature of 750...800°C and the briquetting of the desulphurized and granulated ore, respectively, then there is carried out the smelting of the gold, silver and, possibly, copper, in an arc furnace, followed by a discharging into a ladle, with plug or drawer closing, wherefrom the smelt is sent into a casting assembly, and on, after the metal solidification, the ingots being subjected to electrolytic refining of gold, silver and other possibly accompanying metals, in the conditions when the slag obtained when smelting gold and silver is used as electrolyte, the electrolyte being smelt in an arc furnace, the fluorspar, quartzite, bauxite, magnesite and the caustic lime being used as fusing agents. As claimed by the invention, the installation comprises at least a multi-level furnace, where the levels inter-communicate from the top downwards, a mixer with horizontal axle and with blades, a die (3) and a carrousel-type mechanized press, as well as an arc furnace, a ladle, a casting assembly and an arc furnace for electrolysis.
