titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR OBTAINING AN AROMATIC DIAMOND CONTAINING THE FTALONITRILE GROUP AND THERMAL RECYCLING THEREOF
abstract The invention relates to a process for preparing cross-linked polymers. According to the invention, the process consists in synthesizing, in a first stage, an aromatic diamine, containing a phthalonitrile group by the nucleophilic substitution reaction of 4,4'-diamino-4"-hydroxy-triphenylmethane and 4-nitrophthalonitrile in the presence of potassium carbonate at a molar ratio 1:1:3 in N,N-dimethylacetamide, heated at 60°C while stirring for 30 h, then the diamine isolated by processing the reaction mixture is subjected, in a second stage, to a thermal cross-linking by heating at a temperature within the range of 200...300°C, for 30 min...10 h, wherefrom there result a cross-linked polymer with high thermal stability, insoluble in organic solvents, suitable to be used for the preparation of some polymeric composites and adhesives.
