abstract The invention relates to a method and a product-program for optimizing the activity of administering chemotherapy. The method according to the invention is based on a core of two databases, a database of patient's personal data and prior treatments, and a knowledge base containing all chemotherapy schemes and all details and medical restrictions and non-medical; at each visit of the patient, the chemotherapist makes a review of the previous treatments based on the information in the database, chooses from the knowledge base a treatment scheme that adapts to the patient's conditions at the time of the visit and makes a prescription to the pharmacy , which releases the medication, and starts treatment. The program product according to the invention consists of a plurality of interconnected modules which operate with data from several databases: a database containing a user catalog, a prescription database, a knowledge base , a database of ICD codes, a database of histological codes, a database containing a nurses catalog, a database containing a catalog of residents, a database containing a catalog of houses insurance where patients are enrolled, and a database containing a catalog of trials used by patients in the administration of chemotherapy; these databases have access to three categories of users: the administrator, with the right to modify the data in all databases except the prescription database, the prescribing physicians, with modification rights only for
