abstract The present invention relates to an analytical method for identifying and dosing enrofloxacin and chemically related impurities. The method according to the invention consists in chromatography on a column of octadecylsilyl silica gel at a column temperature of 40 ° C using acetonitrile: HPO 25 mM and tetrahydrofuran as the mobile phase, column testing being performed by injection of a reference solution containing 3 ppm enrofloxacin and 3 ppm ciprofloxacin at a concentration of 1000 ppm at a theoretical plate count of at least 2000 for enrofloxacin and a resolution between the component peaks of at least 1.5, the recording time being about 10 minutes, i.e. twice retention time of enrofloxacin.
