The invention relates to a process for the production of calcogenic microlens, which can be used in surgery and in the field of material processing, and to a plant for carrying out the process. The process according to the invention consists in that the calcogen glass particles are wetted and the powder obtained is melted at 600 ° C, and then resolidated to a spherical or planar shape.
