The process according to the invention consists in that the vegetal material made from pericarp and sea buckthorn seeds, dried and crushed, is extracted with a diol, namely ethylene glycol, and further hydrolyzed with 1 ... 15% aqueous mineral acid or acid acetic acid and extract the flavonoid agonists with ethyl ether from the resulting mixture, the ether extract dried under vacuum to give a yellowish-yellowish product which can be used as such or can be purified by decolorizing with activated charcoal and recrystallization . |
