The invention relates to a process for the production of urethane expanded hard materials which are used for thermal insulation, the isolation of cooling and freezing equipment of industrial installations, the isolation of various storage tanks, pipelines, shipbuilding and in the field of construction in general. The process according to the invention is carried out by reacting the polyisocyanates with compounds having at least two compatible hydrogen atoms to react with isocyanates and a molecular weight of 92 to 10000 in the presence of water and alkanes as organic foaming agents as well as solubilizers , and, if necessary, of auxiliary and customary auxiliaries. |
