abstract Stabilised molten carbonate fuel cell anodes are obtd. by: impregnating a porous metallic anode made of particles of Cu, Co or Ni or alloys of these with an aq. soln. of a salt of a structure stabiliser; drying at 80-100 pref. 85-95 deg C; dehydrating at 110-160 pref. 120-140 deg. C; and heating in a reducing atmos. at 600-700 pref. 625-675 deg. C to form particles of stabiliser in reduced form on the surface of the metal particles.
