abstract |
Recognition molecules (I) comprising sequences that bind specifically to the glycosylated MUC1 tumor epitope, are new. New recognition molecules (I) comprise: (a) sequences (1) or (2); (b) sequences (3) or (4) and (c) sequences (5) and (6), and bind specifically to the glycosylated MUC1 tumor epitope. Asp-Ala-Trp-Met-Asp (1) Asn-Tyr-Trp-Met-Asn (2) Glu-Ile-Arg-Ser-Lys-Ala-Asn-Asn-His-Ala-Thr-T yr-Tyr-Ala-Glu-Ser-Val-Lys-Gly (3) Glu-Ile-Arg-Leu-Lys-Ser-Asn-Asn-Tyr-Thr-Thr-His-Tyr-Ala-Glu-Ser-Val-L ys-Gly (4) Gly-Gly-Tyr-Gly-Phe-Asp-Tyr (5) His-Tyr-Tyr-Phe-Asp-Tyr (6) Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) construct (II) comprising (I) fused, chemically coupled or non-covalently associated with additional sequences and/or structures; (2) isolated nucleic acid (III) that encodes (I) or (II); (3) expression cassette or vector that contains (III), operatively linked to a promoter; (4) virus or host cell comprising at least one cassette or vector of (3); (5) organism containing at least one host cell of (4); (6) method for preparing (I) and (II); and (7) kit containing (I) and/or (II). - ACTIVITY : Cytostatic. No details of tests for cytostatic activity are given. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : Specific binding to the MUC1 epitope; Gene therapy. |
