abstract | THE PRESENT INVENTION CONCERNS THE ENCAPSULATION OF SPECIES OF ISOCYANATE IN MONOMERIC FORM, INCLUDING POLYISOCYANATES, OLIGOMERIC AND PRE-POLYMERIC, ASSISTED BY EMULSION TECHNIQUES COMBINED WITH EVAPORATION OF SOLVENT OR MICRULATION FOR SOLIDIFICATION. THE MICROCAPSULAS ARE BIODEGRADABLE WALL, OF THE NUCLEUS-WALL TYPE, AND ALLOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW GENERATION OF SELF-REACTIVE AND SINGLE-COMPONENT ADHESIVES, WITH REDUCED RISKS TO HEALTH DURING HANDLING, ABSENCE OF ERRORS IN MANUFACTURING. THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE A BIODEGRADABLE WALL MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO AVOID THE RELEASE OF PARTICLES CONSIDERED AS MICROPLASTICS INTO THE ENVIRONMENT. THE COMPARISON BETWEEN THE NEW SINGLE-COMPONENT ADHESIVES AND THE TWO-COMPONENT ADHESIVES SHOWS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE MICROCAPSULAS AS RETICULANT AGENTS, AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE ENCAPSULATED ISOCYANATE SPECIES, WHICH OCCURS BY THE EFFECT OF A COMBINED, TEMPERATURE-BILLED AND TEMPERATURE COMBINED SETTINGS POSSIBLE DUE TO THE LOW MELTING POINT OF THE POLYMER USED FOR THE WALL, EG POLYCAPROLACTONE. |
