abstract | A labial balm applicator product (10) (20) comprises upper and lower portions that can be joined together to define the substantially spandolic shape of the applicator (10). A support deck located in the lower portion (16) accommodates a plurality of labial balloons (20) with an arched surface. A labial balm (20) comprises a composition of waxes and oils in a solid form and formed so as to have an arched surface. The composition is formed to have the arched surface utilizing a quenching process. A method of manufacturing a lip balm (20) comprises providing a recipe (12) with a concave concave surface; A labial balm material (20) in a heated, liquefied phase is poured into the interior of the recipe (12). Once exhausted, the liquid phase is allowed to solidify so that a surface of the solidified lip balm material (20) acquires an arched configuration corresponding to the arcuate surface of the rectacil (12). |
