THE PRESENT INVENTION REFERS TO A MEDICAL DEVICE FOR TENSIONING GRAFTS IN ORTHOPEDIC LIGAMENT RECONSTRUCTION SURGERIES. THE FIRST SUB-ASSEMBLY INCLUDES TWO IDENTICAL AND SYMMETRICAL SIDE ARMS AND USES A BRAKE SPRING SYSTEM TO QUANTIFY THE TRACTION-FORCE MODULE. EACH LATERAL BRACKET INCLUDES A SOLIDARY RACK (9) WITH A COMPRESSION HELICOID SPRING (4), A GUIDE SHAFT (1), A SUTURE THREAD FIXING PIECE (8) AND AN EXTERIOR RACK (10) IN WHICH THE RACK SLIDES (9). THE BRAKE, IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE APPLIED FORCE, USES THE BRAKE PATLE (12), A GIRDLE KIT (13) AND A TRACK (10). THE "U" STRUCTURE ADAPTER SUB-ASSEMBLY COMPRISES AN ALIGNMENT CONE (17) THAT FITS INTO THE GRAFT HOUSING TUNNEL ALLOWING TO CONTROL THE DIRECTION OF THE TRACTION FORCE, AND A FIXING SYSTEM COMPRISING AN ADAPTER (16), BY BOLTS AND SPIGONS (19) TO ADAPT TO THE ANATOMICAL REGION AND PROMOTE STABLE FIXATION. |
