abstract | The present invention relates to a series treatment of crude effluents from the ethanol industry, produced from sugarcane, which combines chemical precipitation with rapid absorption (2) of alkaline metal hydroxide concentrates (HYDROXIDE SOLUTIONS CALCIUM OR SODIUM) (1); INSTANT FORMATION OF INSOLUBLE AGGREGATES OF CARBONATES AND HYDROXIDES OF METALS WITH ORGANIC PARTICLES; SEDIMENTATION BY ZONES OF INSOLUBLE AGGLOMERATES (3); FOLLOWED BY PRECIPITATION BY QUICK INCORPORATION (5) OF IRON SALTS IN SOLID FORM AS IRON CHLORIDE OR IRON SULFATE (4); FORMATION FOR 2 MINUTES OF HYDROXIDE AGGREGATES OF IRON; AND SEDIMENTATION BY ZONES OF THE IRON PRECIPITATE (6). THIS TREATMENT REDUCED THE CONTAMINATION OF EFFLUENTS IN ORGANIC MATTER, CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM OR SODIUM, PHOSPHORUS, NITROGEN, POTASSIUM, VOLATILE SOLIDS, AND CHARACTERISTIC ABSORBANCES.
