titleOfInvention | REACTIVE COMPOUNDS AND NANOPARTICLES OF SILICON WITH REPELLENT ACTIVITY OF INSECTS IN TEXTILE SUBSTRATES AND OTHER MATERIALS AND THEIR PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING AND FIXING |
abstract | The present invention consists of reactive silica compounds and nanoparticles with insect repellent activity on textile substrates and other materials and on the process of obtaining and fixing, by means of a sol-gel process in water (O / W) in which it is ADDED ETHYL 3-NN-BUTYL-N-ACETYLOAMINO PROPIONATE TO A HYDROLYSATABLE SILAN TO FORM A COMPOUND THAT MAY BE FIXED CHEMICALLY TO FIBERS OR OTHER FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS. To the product resulting from this reaction, a solution of silicon and a surfactant in a sol-gel process is also added to form non-reactive silanolic nanoparticles containing the 3 (N-butyl-N-acetylamino) propionate, which are precipitated by lowering PH. THE ACTIVE PRODUCT OF THIS REACTION IS PREFERENTIAL BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY INCORPORATED IN SILICON NANOPARTICLES WHICH ARE FURTHER FIXED ON TEXTILE OR OTHER SURFACES. THE NANOPARTICLES PRESENT REACTIVE GROUPS WHICH ARE CONNECTED BY COVAL CONNECTIONS TO CELLULOSE FIBERS. |
