abstract | IN THIS PRESENT EVENT A SYSTEM OF DIAGNOSIS OF SLEEP DISORDERS IS PRESENTED FROM A SIMPLE EQUIPMENT TO PROCEED TO THE CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT OF THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HUMAN BODY IN THE HEAD PAVILION. AN ELECTRONIC TEMPERATURE SENSOR, COUPLED TO THE MICROPHONE OF A BLUETOOTH HEADPHONE (1), SEND TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS TO THE MOBILE PHONE WHICH IS COATED. WITH THE INFORMATION ACQUIRED THE CIRCADIAN CYCLE OF THE TEMPERATURE IS DETERMINED FROM WHICH SOME DISTURBANCES OF THE CIRCADIAN CYCLE OF THE SLEEP / HUMAN VIGIL CAN BE DIAGNOSED. THE MEASURES ARE STORED IN THE MEMORY OF THE MOBILE PHONE AND PERIODICALLY SENT BY E-MAIL OR SMS (SHORT MESSAGING SERVICE) TO A CLINICAL CENTER. SINCE WIRES ARE NOT USED, THE SYSTEM ALLOWS A LONG-TERM AND CONTINUOUS USE WITHOUT DISCOMFORT FOR THE PATIENT. THE ELECTRONICS ARE VERY SIMPLIFIED AND MINIATURIZED AS THEY ARE CONSISTED OF A SIMPLE TEMPERATURE SENSOR (2), WHICH FREQUENCY MODULES AN AUDIO SINUSOIDAL CARRIER. THIS IS INJECTED TO THE HEADSET MICROPHONE AND SENT TO THE MOBILE PHONE THROUGH THE VOICE CHANNEL. |
