abstract | The present invention is comprised of a method for identification of animal species based on the size differences of the DNA sequencing of the 12SRRNA and 16SRRNA mitochondrial genes present in biological samples with genetic material of one or more animal species. FOR THIS PURPOSE A FLAT-SCREEN PRIMERS PANEL DEVELOPED FOR SIMULTANEOUS AMPLIFICATION OF SEVEN FRAGMENTS OF DIFFERENT SIZES, IN A MULTIPLEX PCR REACTION, BEING POSSIBLE TO DETECT AND ANALYZE THEMSELVES AS AUTOMATIZED ELECTRONIC CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS, GEL ELECTROPHORESIS DESNATURANT, SEQUENTIATION, PYROSEQUENTIATION, ENZYMATIC DIGESTION, CHEMICALLY SOLID SURFACE-LINKED (MICROARRAY) DNA MOLECULES, HIGH PERFORMANCE DENATURATING LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY (DHLPC), OR OTHER AFIM TECHNIQUE. THIS INVENTION HAS THE ADVANTAGE OF APPLYING ONLY TO DEGRADED BIOLOGICAL SAMPLES, BECAUSE IT IS BASED ON THE SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF SEVEN INFORMATION REGIONS OF MITOCHONDRIAL DNA, OF GREAT ABUNDANCE RELATIVE TO NUCLEAR DNA. PRIMERS BRANDING WITH FLUORESCENCE ALLOWS A QUICK, EFFECTIVE AND ECONOMIC USE OF THIS MULTIPLEX IN AUTOMATED CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS SYSTEMS. THESE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE INVENTION POSSIBLE THEIR APPLICATION TO IDENTIFY SAMPLES ON A LARGE SCALE, IN SUCH AREAS AS FOR FORESTRY, THE FOOD INDUSTRY, ECOLOGY AND ARCHEOLOGY. |
