titleOfInvention | METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF COMPOSITIONS FOR THE CONTROL OF GROWTH OF MICROBIAL AGENTS IN AQUEOUS MEDICINES BASED ON CHLORINE AND GLYCOLURY |
abstract | The present invention relates to methods and compositions for hygiene (cleansing) of aqueous media which combine a composition that is a chlorine source and a composition that is a glycoluryl source. The method is essentially characterized in that a total available chlorine concentration effective for control of the growth of microbial agents and a glycoluryl concentration varying between about 0.1 and about 40.0 ppm, effective for stabilizing the total available chlorine, are maintained in the water. The compositions are added together or separately, continuously or batchwise, and by any one of a series of methods. The glycoluryl compound stabilizes the chlorine and prolongs its useful life as a microbicidal agent. |
