abstract | 1,234,635. Triazolo [1,5-a]pyrimidine derivatives. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 11 Aug., 1969 [13 Sept., 1968; 1 May, 1969], Nos. 43627/68 and 22266/69. Heading C2C. [Also in Division A5] The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> is NH 2 (possibly substituted by 1 or 2 acyl, i.e. R<SP>4</SP>CO or R<SP>4</SP>CS radicals, where R<SP>4</SP> is C 1-6 alkyl or alkoxy, Ph or halophenyl), C 1-10 alkylamino, (up to C 15 ) phenylalkylamino or halophenylalkylamino, acylated derivatives of any of these 3 radicals where "acyl" is defined as above, ureido (optionally substituted by C 1-6 alkyl, Ph or halophenyl), CO 2 H, HOCH 2 , or (optionally C 1-6 alkyl-substituted) CONH 2 or CONHNH 2 ; R<SP>2</SP> is C 1-10 alkyl, C 3-6 cycloalkyl or C 2-4 alkenyl; R<SP>3</SP> is H, halogen or C 1-10 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; one of X and Y is O= or S=, and the other is H or C 1-4 alkyl, the nucleus containing a double bond in one of the positions indicated by the broken line; and pharmaceutically acceptable base addition salts of such compounds containing an acidic group. These compounds may be prepared by commencing with a 3-R<SP>1</SP>-5-R<SP>2</SP>NH-triazole and forming the pyrimidine ring, by substitution of the corresponding triazolopyrimidines where R<SP>2</SP>=H, or by many other standard reactions described in the Specification. Further exemplified intermediates include substituted 4-isodithiobiurets and 2,4-diisodithiobiurets; and compounds of the above formula where R<SP>1</SP> is NCO, NCS or CO 2 Me, or where R<SP>1</SP> =NH 2 while R<SP>2</SP>=H, R<SP>3</SP>=CO 2 H, X=O and Y=Me.n[GB1234635A] |
