titleOfInvention Method of differentiating the active and inactive phase of chronic forms of multiple sclerosis and its application
abstract The subject of the invention is a method of differentiating the phases of chronic forms of multiple sclerosis in a patient by determining the biological lipid profile in a sample, i.e. lipid levels from the group consisting of dhCer, Cer, SM, HexCer, LacCer, C1P and sphingoids and comparing them with reference values from persons with excluded CNS disorders. The invention also relates to sphingolipid biomarkers of the active and inactive phase of chronic forms of multiple sclerosis and diagnostic kits.
