abstract The subject of the application is a method of synthesizing a molecular magnetic material, in which: a mixture is prepared containing: a paramagnetic reagent containing a d-electron metal in paramagnetic form selected from the group consisting of: Fe, Co, Mo, W and Mn, a diamagnetic reagent containing a metal d- electron in diamagnetic form, selected from the group consisting of: Fe, Co, Mo, W and Mn at least one cyano ligand donor (-CN) being a separate compound and / or included in a paramagnetic and / or diamagnetic reagent, at least one a cation with coordination sites for binding to cyano nitrogen from the cyano ligand donor, with the exception of a mixture of reagents containing both as a paramagnetic reagent: [W (CN) 6 (NN)] - and as a diamagnetic reagent: [W (CN) 6 (NN) ] -2, where NN is an NN-donor binary substituent. Subsequently, the components of this mixture are reacted to form coordination bonds between the cation and the cyano nitrogen from the cyano ligand donor to form a polycyan complex which is a molecular magnetic material. The subject of the application is also molecular magnetic material.
