titleOfInvention 4'-O-biotinylaringenin and the method of obtaining 4'-O-biotinaringenin
abstract The invention relates to a new flavonanone with a biotin molecule at the C-4 'position, i.e. 4'-O-biotinylaringenin, of formula 1, and a method of its preparation by esterification from naringenin (5,7 4'-dihydroxy flavanone) with the use of a coupling agent such as is 1-ethyl-3- (3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride and in the presence of 4-dimethylaminopyridine in N, N dimethylformamide. The invention may find application in the pharmaceutical, food or chemical industries.
