abstract The subject of the application is a method of obtaining and dehydrating acetone, butanol and ethanol, characterized in that the ABE aqueous mixture or the fermentation broth is subjected to membrane distillation in a module with hydrophobic porous membranes, whereby the permeate is collected on a cooling surface where permeate condenses and condensate flows into a permeate tank containing about twice the concentration of organic components (ABE), and the permeate obtained as a result of membrane distillation is directed to a tank from which the ABE mixture is directed to distillation to obtain a concentrated ABE mixture or the mixture is directed to modules for vacuum pervaporation or thermopervaporation, where the permeate after the pervaporation or thermopervaporation process is a mixture of acetone, butanol and ethanol (ABE) with water and is directed to a tank (phase separator), where the upper organic phase is separated from 60% to 70%ABE and 30% to 40% water and a lower water phase containing approx. 80% water and 20% ABE.
