abstract | A biosensor for the determination of the metalloproteinase-1 enzyme is disclosed using a rabbit specific antibody against human metalloproteinase-1. The biosensor consists of a slide (1) and four layers, on which a polymer mesh (6) divides the sensor into partitions. The bottom layer of the biosensor is chromium (3), on which gold (2) is applied, followed by a thiol linker (4) and a rabbit, specific, immobilized antibody against human metalloproteinase-1 (5). |
