abstract The invention relates to new asymmetrical 5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine disulfide derivatives having antibacterial and antifungal activity. New unsymmetrical disulfides, 5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine derivatives of general formula 1 have an alkyl substituent at the C-3 position of the ring (2-propyl, butyl iso-butyl, tert-butyl, pentyl, dodecyl, 11 -hydroxy-1-undecyl), aryl (phenyl, 4-chlorophenyl, 4-methylphenyl, 4-nitrophenyl, 2,4-dinitrophenyl) and heteroaryl (benzothiazole).
