titleOfInvention | Reagent composition for dilution of whole blood samples, especially on 3-Diff and 5-Diff hematology analyzers, and its use |
abstract | The present invention relates to a reagent composition for the dilution of whole blood samples for analysis, especially in class 3-Diff and 5-Diff analyzers, characterized in that it contains, calculated on 1 liter of H2O: a) at least one compound containing stabilizing ions 2 - 20 g / l; b) at least one ionizing salt in the range 0.5-5 g / L; c) at least one chelating compound in the range of 0.05-2.0 g / L; d) at least one surfactant in the range 0.5-15 mg / l; e) at least one preservative in the range 5-100 ppm / l; f) at least one organic or inorganic buffer in an amount sufficient to achieve the desired pH in the range 6.0 - 11.0; and furthermore, the composition is free of toxic sodium azide and unstable in the presence of light 2-mercaptopridine N-oxide. In addition, the invention includes the use of this composition. |
