abstract The present invention relates to a refrigerant composition and the use of the composition in refrigeration and cooling devices. The solution concerns an azeotropic mixture of natural gases with the following percentage composition: ethane 2.9%, propane 87%, isobutane 5%, n-butane 5%, trimethylsilanol 0.1% and high purity of the mixture itself at least 91%. Also disclosed is the use of a natural gas mixture as a refrigerant in refrigeration and cooling devices such as refrigerators or air conditioners.
