titleOfInvention New compounds 3- (N-alkylmorpholinio) -2-hydroxy-1-propanesulfonates and the method of their preparation
abstract The invention relates to new compounds of 3- (N-alkylmorpholinio) -2-hydroxy-1-propanesulfonates of the general formula 1, wherein R is the n-alkyl chain at the morpholine nitrogen atom with different number of carbon atoms of 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 and the method of obtaining these compounds. The method of obtaining these compounds is that N-alkylmorpholine of the general formula II, in which R has the above meaning, is reacted with sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxy-1-propanesulfonate in a molar ratio of 1: 1, in the presence of dimethylformamide . In addition, the reaction is carried out at room temperature or at the reflux temperature of the solvent. The new compounds of the invention are characterized by their ability to reduce surface tension at the interface: aqueous solution - air.
