abstract The method of producing epichlorohydrin from combined streams of acid dichloropropanols and concentrated dichloropropanols consists in the fact that the reactions of hydrogen chloride neutralization and the dehydrochlorination reactions of the dichloromethanol isomers contained in the combined streams of acid dichloropropanols and concentrated dichloropropanols are carried out by the continuous method at a temperature of 40-80 ° C and during the reaction from 10 to 16 minutes, in a stirred stirred tank reactor (1), with a molar ratio of sodium hydroxide contained in sodium hydroxide to the sum of moles of hydrogen chloride, 1,3-dichloropropanol and 2,3-dichloropropanol in the range from 0.96 to 1.10, while the concentration of sodium hydroxide in the sodium hydroxide is maintained at such a level that the concentration of sodium chloride in the aqueous phase after the mass distribution after the reaction is equal to the concentration in the saturated state or a maximum of 1% lower, the two-phase mass after the reaction is guided to the phase separator (2), in which the body separates it into the upper phase The organic phase is called brine, - the organic phase is directed to the crude epichlorohydrin stream, - the brine is directed to the column (3) in which the epichlorohydrin dissolved in it is rectified by means of steam, - vapors from the top of the column (3) condenses in the condenser (4) and then separates in the separator (5) into the aqueous phase, recycled to the top of the column (3) as reflux and the organic phase which combines with the organic phase from the separator (2) as a crude epichlorohydrin stream.
