titleOfInvention | A method for producing non-racemic carboxylic acid esters |
abstract | The subject of the invention is a process for the preparation of non-racemic esters of carboxylic acids of the general formula I, in which n is 1-5 or zero, R1 is C1-C12 alkyl, and R2, R3, R4 are independently hydrogen, substituted or nothing by hydroxyl group , substituted or not amino group, or straight or branched C1-C20 alkyl group with or without double or triple bond, aryl. The use of racemic carboxylic acids and carrying out the reaction until 100% conversion of the substrate allows obtaining enantiomerically pure esters with a yield of up to 100% having an enantiomeric excess > 99.5%. |
