titleOfInvention | Method for the production of silver nanoparticle suspension and silver nanoparticle suspension |
abstract | The application concerns a method of producing a suspension of silver nanoparticles. The method of producing a suspension of silver nanoparticles consists in reducing a silver salt with a plant-derived reducing agent, which method is characterized in that rhodiola rosea extract is used as a reducing agent, and the reduction is carried out in the presence of a polymeric stabilizer. According to a preferred embodiment, the method comprises the following steps: a solution of the polymer stabilizer is prepared in water or in a mixture of water and an organic solvent, and then the silver salt (solution A) is dissolved in this solution, an extract of rhodiola rosea is prepared, preferably in the same solvent, in which solution A is prepared, the weight ratio of rhodiola rosea to solvent is in the range of 1: 100 to 10: 1 solution B is added to solution A, with constant stirring, at a temperature maintaining the liquid state of the solvent or elevated to the boiling point solvent, with the volume ratio of solution A to solution B ranging from 1:100 to 100:1. The application also includes a suspension of silver nanoparticles containing rhodiola rosea extract and a polymer stabilizer, in which the concentration of silver nanoparticles is preferably in the range from 100 mg/dm3 to 2000 mg/dm3. |
