titleOfInvention | A bioavailable composition of flavonoids containing rhamnose and its use |
abstract | The subject of the invention is a bioavailable composition of rhamnose-containing flavonoids consisting of a flavonoid used in an amount of 0.1 mg - 1 g per aglycone selected from the group consisting of diosmin, hesperidin or a mixture of diosmin and hesperidin and a microencapsulated fructooligosaccharide enzyme with β-ramnoside activity. and ß-glucosidase, preferably in the form of naringinase, the content of which in the composition is sufficient to produce 10-75% diosmetin from diosmin or hesperetin from hesperidin. The enzyme is microencapsulated by spray drying with fructo-oligosaccharides, keeping the ratio of enzyme to fracto-oligosaccharides in the range from 1: 0.25 to 1:20. The subject of the invention is also the use of the compositions in the production of medicinal products and nutritional preparations intended for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, in particular chronic venous insufficiency, peripheral vascular diseases, lymphoedema, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, pressure ulcers or venous leg ulcers. The composition is used in medicinal products or nutritional preparations in the form of coated or uncoated tablets, effervescent tablets, orodispersible tablets, soft or hard capsules, powder sachets, pellets or granules. |
