abstract The present invention relates to the use of modulators of mutant CFTR protein function in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of diseases associated with disorders of the proper functioning of the CFTR protein. More specifically, it is an object of the invention to provide pharmaceutical preparations and methods for correcting the cell processing of a mutant CFTR protein caused by mutation αF508-CFTR or other class II mutations.
