abstract | According to the invention, a polyisocyanate composition comprises a titanium, zirconium or hafnium composition, preferably a titanium or zirconium composition, said composition being a complex of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium and hafnium and an acetoacetate ester in which the molar ratio of Ti, Zr or Hf to acetoacetate ester is in the range 1 : 2.5 to 1 : 10 and said acetoacetate ester is an ester of an alcohol containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The invention also comprises a process for binding lignocellulosic material using such compositions. |
