titleOfInvention A method of producing surface-active lipopeptides
abstract 1. Method for the production of surface-active lipopeptides using bacteria of the genus Bacillus, characterized in that bacteria of the species Bacillus coagulans or their mutants are used and a culture medium consisting of: 0.06 - 0.8% by weight of alkali metal nitrates and ammonium salts, preferably sodium nitrate, 0.02 - 0.5 wt.% magnesium sulphate heptahydrate, 0.005 - 0.03 wt.% calcium chloride dihydrate, 0.01 - 0.1 wt.% potassium chloride, 0.05 - 1.8 wt. % by mass of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 0.1 - 9.5% by mass of di-potassium hydrogen phosphate, and 0.4 - 2.0% by mass of simple sugars or polysaccharides or glycerol or long-chain individual hydrocarbons or mixtures thereof are used as the organic carbon source , or mixtures of simple sugars and long-chain hydrocarbons, or mixtures of the above-mentioned organic compounds with amino acids or yeast extract, and the cultivation is carried out in the temperature range of 293 - 318 K, at the pH of the wort 4.0-8.5, most preferably at a pH of 6.5-7.5.
