abstract Method for the production of Na-benzyloxycarbonyl-D-O-t-butylseryl-L-leucyl-L-arginyl-L-proline N-ethylamide acetate,ncharacterized in that Na-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-proline N-ethylamidenis treated in the presence of 1-hydroxybenzotriazolenof hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst, the obtained L-proline N-ethylamide condenses with benzotriazolylanenNα-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-arginine using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide to givenNa-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-arginyl-L-proline N-ethylamide benzotriazolylate, whichntreated with hydrogen against 1-hydroxybenzotriazole and then combined with Na-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-leucinenwith dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and the resulting tripeptide,nNa-benzyloxycarbonyl-L-leucyl-L-arginyl-L-proline N-ethylamide benzotriazolylate,nis subjected to a hydrogenolysis reaction in the presence of a catalyst and then added to Nabenzyloxycarbonyl-D-O-t-butylserinenwith dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and 1-nhydroxybenzotriazole to give the tetrapeptide, N-ethylamide benzotriazolylatenNa-benzyloxycarbonyl-D-O-t-butylseryl-L-leucyl-L-arginyl-L-proline which purifiesnby silica gel column chromatography on the systemnacetic acid-containing solvents to yield Na-benzyloxycarbonyl-D-O-t-butylseryl-L-leucyl-L-arginyl-L-proline N-ethylamide acetate.
