titleOfInvention | A method of obtaining high purity ajmalicin from vegetable raw material PL |
abstract | 1. A method of obtaining high purity ajmalicin from plant raw material, especially from Catharanthus roseus roots by extraction, characterized in that the extraction is carried out at least three times with an aqueous mineral acid solution at pH 2-3, after which the acid extract is adsorbed on the resin at low polarity to complete absorption of alkaline bases, then the resins are washed with an aqueous solution of ammonia and desorbed with acetone, which is stripped, until the extract is precipitated with crude ajmalicin sediment mixture of methyl alcohol and 2% aqueous ammonia solution in a volume ratio of 9-10: 1 after which the precipitate is purified by crystallization from methyl alcohol. 4. A method of obtaining high purity ajmalicin from plant raw material, especially from the roots of Catharanthus roseus by means of extraction, characterized in that the extraction is carried out at least three times with an aqueous mineral acid solution at pH 2-3, after which the acid extract is adsorbed on the resin at small polishes to be found in the leakage of traces of ammalicin, then the resins are washed with an aqueous solution of ammonia and desorbed with acetone, which is stripped off, until the extract pellets crude ajmalicin sediment, a mixture of methyl alcohol and 2% aqueous ammonia solution in a volume ratio of 9-10 : 1, then the precipitate is purified by crystallization from methyl alcohol.
