1319991 Coloured toothpastes PROCTER & GAMBLE CO 26 June 1970 [27 June 1969] 31137/70 Heading A5B [Also in Division C3] A toothpaste comprises particles of a coloured, water-impervious, cross-linked resin obtained by polymerization in aqueous solution of a precursor or precursors of the resin, a water-soluble non-toxic dye (viz. one certified by the US Food and Drugs Administration as an 'F D + C' dye) being dissolved in the solution before polymerization is complete. In Examples such resin powders are prepared and mixed with water, glycerin, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium lauryl sulphate, a flavouring, saccharin and SnF 2 . |
