abstract Disclosed is a utility model of a process in producing Sargassum seaweed organic foliar fertilizer comprising the steps of: collecting the Sargassum seaweeds along the seashore, washing the seaweeds with fresh water three times to remove the dirt and salty substances, air drying the washed seaweeds at room temperature within two weeks, chopping the dried seaweeds, weighing the chopped dry seaweeds to determine the dry matter weight, placing the chopped dry seaweeds in a container, adding five liters of fresh water to every one kilogram of chopped dried seaweeds in the container then cover, stirring the seaweed mixture for 15 minutes every week within a period of four months to enhance fermentation and disintegration of the solid particles, filtering the liquid extract with double layer cloth, transferring the liquid extract to bottle container; sealing and labeling the bottle containers. This is a viable alternative organic foliar fertilizer that is inexpensive and easy to produce.
