abstract | The present utility model refers a process of preparing a vitamin-rich ready-to-drink beverage composed of green mango puree and sweetened nata de coco puree. The ready-to-drink beverage is made by preparing and mixing green mango and sweetened nata de coco purees, and water. The mixture is sweetened with the addition of sugar, heated while being simultaneously homogenized by continuous stirring, and subsequently pasteurized. Vitamins and preserving agent are then added to the mixture after dissolving in appropriate solvents. The mixture is cooled and packed accordingly. The resulting mixture is also subject to shelf stability tests to ensure quality of the beverage. |
