SUCH WELDED STRUCTURE INCLUDES: I) A DEPOSITED METAL THAT HAS A DBTT (DUCTILE TRANSITION TEMPERATURE TO FRAGILE) BELOW 73�C WITH A MICROSTRUCTURE THAT INCLUDES: A) A FINE GRASS CRYSTAL STRUCTURE DOMINATED BY MARTENSITA; AND B) A LOW NON-METAL INCLUSION CONTENT; SAID DEPOSITED METAL INCLUDES IRON AND THE FOLLOWING ALLOY ELEMENTS: 0.06% TO 0.1% CARBON, 1.6% TO 2.05% MANGANESE, 0.20% TO 0.32% SILICONE, 1, 87% TO 4% NICKEL, 0.40% TO 0.56% MOLYBDENUM, 0.30% TO 0.87% CHROME, 30 ppm SULFUR AND 50 ppm PHOSPHORUS, ALSO INCLUDES A SELECTED ADDITIVE FROM THE CONSISTENT GROUP FROM: 0% TO 0.30% COPPER, 0% TO 0.02% ALUMINUM, 0% TO 0.015% ZIRCONIUM, and 0% TO 0.01% TITANIUM; II) A ZONE AFFECTED BY HEAT (BEAM); AND III) PORTIONS OF SUCH BASIC METAL IN THE NEARBY OF THE BEAM (PORTION OF METAL THAT DOES NOT MELT DURING WELDING) |
